With the appropriate ecclesiastical splendor, the memory of Saint Nicodemus the Hagiorite was celebrated on the island of Naxos, his birthplace, centered around the parish church dedicated to him in the town of the island.
On the morning of Monday, July 14, 2025, the Orthros (Matins) service was held, presided over by His Eminence Metropolitan Justin of Nea Krini and Kalamaria, followed by the festive Divine Liturgy, led by His Eminence Metropolitan George of Thebes, Livadeia, and Avlida, and concelebrated by:

Before the dismissal (“Through the prayers…”), Metropolitan George of Thebes offered thanks on behalf of the gathered hierarchs to Metropolitan Kallinikos for his kind invitation to the celebration. In response, Metropolitan Kallinikos expressed his gratitude to the participating hierarchs and offered warm wishes to the clergy and the large congregation.
