On Tuesday, April 15/28, 2026, His Beatitude our Father and Patriarch of Jerusalem, Theophilos III, accompanied by His Eminence Metropolitan Kyriakos of Nazareth, the Elder Grand Chancellor Archbishop Aristarchos of Constantina, His Eminence Metropolitan Makarios of Acre–Ptolemais, Archimandrite Fr. Christodoulos, Archdeacon Fr. Mark, and the priests Fr. Theodosios Machoulis, Fr. Savvas Machoulis, Archimandrite Fr. Silouanos, Presbyter Elias, and Fr. Issa Mouslech, undertook a pastoral visit to the northern region of the Patriarchal jurisdiction in Acre–Ptolemais.
First, His Beatitude visited the leader of the Druze community in the village of Kafr Yasif, His Excellency Muafaq Tarif, in order to extend congratulations on the occasion of their feast.
Subsequently, His Beatitude visited Mr. Fouad Sha’ante in the city of Kafr Yasif to express condolences for the passing of members of his family. Afterwards, he also visited the city of Rame, where he offered condolences to the public prosecutor of the Galilee region, Mrs. Hanin Simaan Mouez, on the sudden death of her husband, the late Marwan Mouez, in a fatal car accident.
Likewise, His Beatitude visited the home of the retired priest Fr. George, former long-serving steward of the Rame community in the Acre region, accompanied by Fr. Elias, the current parish priest of the community.
