A person who works spiritually on himself does not see faults in others. The spiritual person sees everything clearly and in a good light.
At first, one struggles not to judge others. In the second stage, one tries to counter thoughts of condemnation with good thoughts. In the third stage, one interprets everything in a positive way. Then love and humility enter the soul.
When the soul is purified, not only does it no longer struggle to produce good thoughts, but negative thoughts do not even arise. Even things that appear blameworthy are then seen in a good and compassionate manner.
